The Process

How It Works

From order to return — clear, transparent, and tracked at every step.

Step by Step

The Full Service Process

Six stages from the moment you place an order to the moment the watch is back in your hands.

1

Place Your Order

Select a service tier from the pricing menu, enter the watch details (brand, model, serial, known issues), and complete payment through our secure checkout. You'll receive an order confirmation with a unique order number immediately.

2

Ship the Watch

Send the watch to our mailing address with the order number clearly marked on the package. We recommend insured shipping for valuable timepieces. You'll receive a notification when the watch arrives at our bench.

3

Diagnosis & Assessment

We inspect the movement, confirm the scope of work, and notify you if anything falls outside standard service (corrosion, damage, or parts requiring a separate quote). No additional work is performed without your authorization.

4

Bench Service

Full internal teardown, ultrasonic cleaning of all parts, fresh Moebius lubricants, new gaskets, demagnetizing, and regulation. Wear parts (mainspring, hairspring) are replaced as needed. The movement is reassembled and tested for accuracy.

5

Quality Check

The serviced movement undergoes a final quality check: timekeeping accuracy, power reserve, and visual inspection under magnification. We do not ship until the movement meets our standards.

6

Return Shipping

The watch is carefully packaged and shipped back with tracking. You'll receive the tracking number by email and can also check the status on our tracking page. The order is marked complete upon delivery confirmation.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the typical turnaround time? +

Standard turnaround is two to three weeks from when the watch is received at our bench. Rush service is available for an additional fee if your customer's timeline requires faster completion.

What does the service price include? +

Every service includes full internal teardown, ultrasonic cleaning of all parts, new Moebius lubricants, new gaskets, demagnetizing, and regulation. If needed, it also includes a new mainspring, hairspring, and many parts associated with normal use and wear. Most units do not require new parts — original parts are preferred as they have worn in with the other components.

What happens if my watch needs additional repairs? +

If the unit is damaged, deeply marked, corroded, or showing excessive wear beyond normal service scope, we will send a new quote for the additional repair costs. No additional work is performed without your authorization. If authorized, there may be a delay if parts need to be ordered. Examples of additional repairs include watch band, crystal face, crown, winding stem, or backplate.

Which movements do you service? +

We service specific Seiko caliber families: 7S, NH35, NH36 (Tier 1), 4R, 6R (Tier 2), 8L, 6L, GMT (Tier 3), and 6139/6138 vintage chronographs (Tier 4, quote required). We do not accept antique pocket watches, vintage chronographs prior to 1980, quartz movements, or smart watches.

How should I ship the watch? +

Ship to our mailing address with the order number clearly marked on the package. We recommend insured shipping for valuable timepieces. Once received, we confirm arrival and begin the diagnosis process. You will be notified by email at each stage.

Do you offer Net-30 terms? +

Yes. Net-30 billing is available for higher-volume repeat clients upon request and approval. Minimum monthly quantities apply. Contact us directly to discuss establishing a service partnership with Net-30 terms.

Can I track my order online? +

Yes. Every order has a unique order number. Enter it on our tracking page to see the current status and full history: Received, Diagnosed, In Progress, Quality Check, Ready, and Shipped. You will also receive email notifications at each status change.

What if the watch has sentimental value? +

Some watches have immense sentimental value that cannot be measured in money. If your customer's timepiece requires special care or handling, please note this on the intake form. We treat every watch as if it were our own, and we are happy to discuss specific care needs.

Do you offer rush service? +

Yes. Rush service is available for an additional fee, which moves your watch to the front of the queue. The standard rush fee is $75. Contact us if you need rush service for multiple watches.

How do I pay? +

Online orders are paid through our secure Stripe checkout at the time of ordering. For face-to-face or established clients, we can send an invoice with a secure payment link. Net-30 terms are available for qualifying partners.
